Packing list is also known as bill of the parcel, unpacking note, packing slip, delivery docket, delivery list. A packing list is helpful as it makes the import/export process easier for Shipper, Customs and Importers. It also help to forwarder / CHA / Shipping line / Airlines for rate quotation, handling shipment and identifying shipments at ware house, Airport or Seaport. Packing list must be match with your commercial invoice (Products & Qty).
Please Note Below Details Require For International Packing List
- a. Invoice number and Date
- b. Purchase Order Number and other reference details
- c. Export Name and Address
- d. Consignee, Notify with Contact details at destination
- e. Port of Discharge and Final Destination
- f. Net Wt. of product only (Without packing)
- g. Gr Wt. – Total wt. (with Packing and Pallet wt.)
- h. Total Number of PKG – Mention packing wise products details. (Box/Pallets/Drum/Loos).
- i. Quantity of product and HS Code as per Packing
- j. Term of shipment and mode of shipment.
- k. Authorized Signature
Labelling On Product Provides The Following Important Information :
- a. Shipper’s mark
- b. Country of origin
- c. Weight marking (in pounds or in kilograms)
- d. Number of packages and size of cases
- e. Handling marks (international pictorial symbols)
- f. Cautionary markings, such as “This Side Up.”
- g. Port of entry
- h. Labels for hazardous materials
